Baltimore, Maryland - The Social Security Administration has redesigned its homepage at, making some improvements on its site which is expected to provide visitors with better access to its services and information they need.

One of the main features of the redesigned home page is the service channeling guide, which links users directly to the most popular page of the website.

In a statement released in its website, SSA Commissioner Michael Astrue said the new design was made possible through suggestions and proposals they receive from the public during testing.

The other features of the site also include a rotating ‘showcase’ that shows significant agency initiatives for major Social Security benefit programs such as retirement, disability, survivors, SSI, and Medicare.
